The world ended, in all the ways you’d expect. People died. People killed. People suffered. People lost. It’s been a very, very long time since then. When you’ve seen the worst humanity has to offer, it’s going to be hard to trust again for a while, maybe decades, maybe centuries. When you don’t know what tomorrow brings, it’s hard to hope. But hope is a funny, persistent little thing.
And it just. Wouldn’t. Die.
The world ended, but that’s not the point. Now, you stand with the other survivors, the ones who made it through the end and through what came after, and you say, “We can be something different. Something better.”
The world ended. And that’s not the point.
The point is what will you make of it now?
For one weekend every month, you can join a settlement alongside your fellow survivors to eat, sleep and fight as your character, using prop weaponry to defend yourself and establish a place in the zombie infested wasteland.
COMMUNITY AND PEOPLE FIRST
The primary point that we want to drive home to you is that this entire network, is a group of people who have decided to spend their weekend together having fun. What to Expect:
A full weekend immersive experience from Friday night to Sunday afternoon. During that time, you'll play a character completely of your own creation within the world of Dystopia Rising, where you'll explore a living world with elements similar to tabletop/video games, improv theater, haunted house/escape room, and wasteland weekend type experiences. An unscripted collaboration of storytelling and survival in what remains after the world as we know it has ended.
